Headshots with Judith Williams – a #throwbackthursday

If you’re on social media I’m sure you’re familiar with the term #tt or #throwbackthursday. At a local Pursuit Community meetup it was brought to my attention that you can not only post images or whatnots on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook for a throwback Thursday but also on your Blog. I honestly would have never even considered it. But, it got me thinking. I have tons of portrait shoots and weddings that I absolutely LOVE and just never got around to blogging. So I think it’s a brilliant idea to start a throwback Thursday for my blog.

One of my all-time favorite things to photograph and actually one of the fields I specialize in are headshots. So, today I want to give a shoutout with this #throwbackthursday to the ever incredible, super talented, funny, kind and very beautiful Judith Williams. I’m sure you’ve heard of her before, especially if you’re from Germany. She’s a singer, actress, Beauty & Fashion Mogul and one of the casts of the German equivalent of shark tank. (Die Höhle der Löwen). She is also a dear family friend and I simply adore her. When she contacted me to shoot her headshots during one of her visits to the US I was beyond honored. I mean, it’s not every day that you get to work with a talent such as Judith Williams, so of course I said yes.

I don’t think there is ever a time when I am around one of the William’s sisters that I am not laughing or having a wicked good time. These girls were raised right, but Godly parents, are full of charm and a wicked sense of humor. I’m sure you might remember Katherine and Zack’s wedding from here and here. Yup, that’s Judith’s youngest sister who now rocks the HSE beauty world alongside her sister. I also had the utmost pleasure of photographing her sister Elizabeth’s wedding which was actually featured over on Cottage Hill. You’ll have to wait for another #BRCTT to see the full wedding featured on my own Blog.

Wenn du auf einer der vielen social media Platformen bist kennst du bestimmt mit Sicherheit den Ausdruck #tt oder #throwbackthursday. Diese Woche war ich bei einem Treffen für Entrpeneurs (Pursuit Community) und es wurde mir bei diesem Treffen zur Aufmerksamkeit gebracht, dass man nicht nur auf Instagram, Twitter oder Facebook einen Throwback Thursday post machen kann, sondern auch auf einem Blog. Ehrlich gesagt, ist mir das noch nie in den Sinn gekommen, aber da ich so viele tolle und verschiedene Shootings und Hochzeiten fotografiert habe die es leider nie auf meinen Blog geschafft haben, ist es eigentlich die beste Idee überhaupt!

Ich liebe es total für andere Entrepreneurs, Schauspieler, Models etc. neue Headshots zu fotografieren.  Also möchte ich meinen heutigen ersten #throwbackthursday der wundervollen, super talentierten, humor- und liebevollen wie auch hübschen  Judith Williams widmen. Ich bin mir sicher ihr habt ihren Namen schonmal gehört oder sie schonmal im TV gesehen. Wie ihr sicherlich wisst ist sie eine talentierte Sängerin, Schauspielerin, Beauty & Fashion Mogul und eine der Casts von  Die Höhle der Löwen. Sie ist außerdem eine Kindheitsfreundin und ich hab sie einfach nur lieb. Sie hat mich für ein Shooting angeschrieben und sagte zu mir “ich möchte so tolle typische ‘Becky-Fotos’ haben” (Becky war mein Spitzname in meiner Jugend) und da konnte ich doch natürlich nicht nein sagen. Man bekommt ja schließlich nicht jeden Tag die Gelegenheit mit so einem Supertalent wie Judith Williams zusammen zu arbeiten.

Jedes Mal wenn ich das Vergnügen habe mit einer der Williams Schwestern zusammen zu sein kann ich mir sicher sein, das wir einen morz Spaß haben und wir zusammen lachen können. Die 3 Schwestern wurden von wundervollen Eltern im Christentum erzogen, haben einen wahnsinnigen Charme und einen brillianten Sinn für Humor. Ihr erinnert euch doch bestimmt an Katherine & Zack’s Hochzeit hier und hier. Yup, das ist Judith’s jüngste Schwester die mitlerweile zusammen mit Judith bei HSE zu sehen ist. Ich hatte auch die Ehre die Hochzeit von ihrer 2. Schwester Elizabeth in Chicago zu fotografieren die sogar auf dem Cottage Hill Hochzeitsblog gefeatured wurde. Ihr müsst dann wohl geduldig auf einen meiner nächsten #BRCTT  Beitrag warten bis ich die komplette Hochzeit auf meinem Blog mit euch teilen werde.

Nochmals vielen Dank Judith für einen fabelhaften Shootingtag. Es war wie immer ein Vergnügen mit dir zusammen zu arbeiten und Zeit mit dir zu verbringen.
