I drove out to NC to photograph Brittany & Mike’s engagement at the Peninsula Yacht Club. I must say, even though we were hit with torrential downpour, we totally lucked out with just enough time in between the rain for a fun portrait session. I’m excited to travel back there again later this year for their outdoor wedding.

 

I met Brittany ages ago while we lived in Oklahoma. Hear and I had a fun sunrise shoot out in the sticks that was and I quote “one of my favorite shoots ever” as Brittany puts it. It sure was a fun shoot. We actually ended up shooting on the land we ended up buying and building our house on. I love it when I get to see people whom I have known for years fall in love and find that special someone who makes their life complete. I love it even more that these two actually met via Tinder. Yup. The dating app! I think I have had at least 4 couples now that I got to work with that met via a dating site/app. Remember the McCool wedding? They met via eHarmony and they are still happily married with 2 beautiful girls now. So, Brittany & Mike….the odds are in your favor!

Ich bin nach North Carolina an den Lake Norman zum Peninsula Yacht Club gefahren für Brittany & Mike’s Verlobungsfotos. Obwohl es zwischendurch wie aus Eimern goss hatten wir genug Zeit zwischen dem Regen für ein wundervolles Shooting. Ich freu mich jetzt schon Ende Sommer wieder dort hin zu fahren um ihre Hochzeit zu dokumentieren.

Ich habe Brittany vor vielen Jahren in Oklahoma kennengelernt wo wir unser erste Fotoshooting zusammen hatte. Leut ihr war es ihr liebstes Shooting was sie jemals hatte. Wir haben an dem Tag ganz früh zu Sonnenaufgang angefangen und sogar auf dem Grundstück fotografiert wo wir letzendlich unser Hsud gebaut haben. Ich freu mich immer wieder wenn ich Bekannte sehe, die endlich einen Partner gefunden habe der sie liebt und glücklich macht und mit dem sie den Rest ihres ebens verbringen möchten. Ich finde es noch plustiger das die 2 sich via die Tinder Dating App kennengelernt haben. Ich hab jetzt schon bestimmt 4 Paare gehabt die sich über eine Dating Seite oder App kennengelernt haben. Vielleicht erinnert ihr euch noch an die McCool‘s die sich via eHarmony kennengelernt haben. Sind sind auch heute noch glücklich verheiratet und haben mitlerweile 2 zuckersüße Kinder.  Brittany & Mike….ich habe also große Hoffnungen für eure gemeinsame Zukunft!

Ich hoffe ihr bleibt weiterhin glücklich, verliebt ineinander und voller Lebensfreude. Ich freue mich schon auf euren ganz besonderen Tag und bete das wir dann wenigstens vom Regen verschohnt bleiben!
