If you’ll ask Megan, she’ll surely tell you that this will be her last, but you just never know. (Ain’t that right, Megan?!) Megan & her husband Ed already have 4 wonderful children and this will be baby #5. She’s having another boy. Her only daughter is one of the sweet kids I get to teach in my primary class and just last Sunday she told me that her new baby brother might even be born on her very own birthday. She’s pretty stoked to be a big sister again.

Megan, I am so glad that I have met you and that you are one of my new friends here in Marietta. I am also super glad that I got the opportunity to photograph you, in your 9th month of pregnancy no less. You are one amazing Mama and I know the Lord loves you and will continue to bless you. And don’t worry, you know Zi will babysit those kiddos of yours ANY TIME you and Ed need a break. haha

For those of you who want a good tip on pretty hiking trails in the Marietta/North Atlanta area: check out Sope Creek. Tons of awesome trails (including those for bikers), a large pond to fish, old ruins, and the beautiful Chattahoochee River with an abundance of large boulders where you can splash all summer long. Or take gorgeous portraits at. 😉

Falls du Megan fragen solltest ob sie weitere Kinder haben möchte wird sie dir mit Sicherheit ein fettes `JA` als Antwort geben. Aber man weiß ja nie so genau was der Herr für Pläne für uns hat. (Gelle Megan?!) Megan und ihr Mann Ed ghaben 4 weitere wundervolle Kinder und das hier wird Baby Nr. 5. Der 4. Junge. Die einzigste Tochter der beiden ist in meiner PV Klasse die ich Sonntags in der Kirche unterrichte. Sie freut sich jetzt schon sehr darauf wieder eine große Schwester zu werden. Am Sonntag hat sie mir noch groß erzählt das ihr neues Brüderchen sogar vielleicht an ihrem eigenen Geburtstag auf die Welt kommt. Ihre Augen waren voller Vorfreude.

Megan, ich bin so froh das wir uns kennengelernt haben und du eine meiner neuen Freunde hier in Marietta bist. Natürlich bin ich doppelt so froh darüber das ich die Möglichkeit hatte diese besondere Zeit für dich mit Fotos festhalten durfte. Nicht jede werdende Mama ist noch so fit am Ende des 9. Monats! Du bist eine wundervolle Mama und ich weiss das der Herr dich liebt und weiterhin segnen wird. Und keine Sorge, unsere Zizi kann jeder Zeit babysitten wenn du & Ed mal eine Auszeit von den Kids brauchen. haha

Für diejenigen unter euch, die wie ich gerne in der Natur sind und wandern gehen, schaut euch unbedingt mal Sope Creek hier in Marietta, im Norden von Atlanta, an. Zisch Wege (auch für Radfahrer), einen Teich, Ruinen, und der Chattahoochee Fluss mit Felsbrocken wo man wundervoll im Sommer über plantschen kann. Oder, wie in diesem Fall, eine perfekte Foto Location. 😉
