Southern Beauty {styled shoot | oklahoma wedding photographer}

As an artist I try to find inspiration anywhere and everywhere. As a photographer who runs her own small business I try to take the time and shoot strictly for myself here and there between work and life as a Mami of 3. To get my creative juices flowing again and to hopefully inspire others along the way. Which is why I do styled shoots. I absolutely love them! May they be fashion or wedding related. They are so much fun. They allow me to work with other like-minded and extremely talented vendors as well as create something fresh and vibrant.

We put a ton of time, love and yes money into these styled shoots. And to have it picked up and featured on a popular blog is something I personally wish for but it’s not something that is always a guaranteed given. Personally I follow many wonderful blogs and have my dream list of where I would absolutely love to be featured on. So when I contacted Kate, the editor of Magnolia Rouge, I was sitting with a thumping heart and shaking legs as I hit the send button on my submission. As Magnolia Rouge is one of those on my dream sheet. When I received a reply in my inbox from Kate I was almost too afraid to open and read it. But then, when I did, I jumped out of my seat and did a little dance. I’m sure if the kids or my hubby would have been in the room with me they would have claimed I had lost my mind. I may have definitely squealed a little bit too. She loved the images I sent to her and decided to feature them on their blog. Eeeeek! So today I am thrilled to show you some of these beautiful images I have been sitting on for months. (In order to get an exclusive feature they have to be kept “top secret” so to say.)
