Mother’s Day is such a special day. Sure, we should love and show our appreciation to our mothers every day. But, having one day in the year to just celebrate Mothers is fabulous! At least in my book. 😉 Growing up with all my brothers and sisters believe me when I say that Mother’s day (Father’s day too!) was quite the production. Days/weeks in advance we would make plans. Art projects were made. Poems were studied. Flowers were picked and bouquets created. Mama would be fed with breakfast in bed. We would always sing to her, present our gifts and shower her with love. To this day many of my siblings (along with their families) travel back to my parents’ house every year for Mother’s day to celebrate our mom. And every year I wish we could be part of that group. So, instead I decided to celebrate Mother’s Day with all of you and will be offering some specials for one week only. Here are the different specials:

And because we are about to celebrate Mother’s day enjoy some pictures of our 3 munchkins.

Muttertag ist ein ganz besonderer Tag. Zumindestens für mich. Und nicht nur weil ich selbst Mama bin. Mütter sollten natürlich jeden Tag geliebt werden von ihren Kindern, jedoch finde ich es klasse, das es einen bestimmten Tag im Jahr gibt wo sie ganz besonders hervorgehoben und gefeiert werden. Wie ihr ja wisst habe ich ganz viele Geschwister und wie ihr euch vielleicht vorstellen könnt war Muttertag (und Vatertag!) bei uns im Hause `Schneider`immer eine große Feier. Tage oder sogar Wochen vorher wurde geplant. Es wurde gemalt und gebastelt. Gedichte wurden auswendig gelernt. Blumen wurden gepflückt und Sträuße kreiert. Mutti wurde mit leckerem Frühstück im Bett überrascht. Es wurde gesungen und sie wurde mit Geschenken und viel Liebe überschüttet. Auch dieses Jahr werden einige meiner Geschwister (mit ihren eigenen Familien) nach Igel reisen um unsere Mami zu feiern. Jedes Jahr wenn ich höhre und sehe wer alles da ist wünschte ich, dass auch wir Clowards mit dabei sein könnten. Leider ist das nicht möglich und somit hab ich mir gedacht, dass ich mit euch zusammen feier und besondere Muttertags Angebote anbiete.
