101 Group Workshop Venice, Italy {workshop l international wedding photographer}

I love Italy! Love it! But I must say, I don’t think Italians know how to drive. hahahahah Unless you count driving on the dotted line as correct. What a drive we had. Lots of music, lots of beautiful scenery. Next time I go to Italy, I must take more scenic images.

My Venice Workshop was so much fun. I had some amazing photographers travel into town to take my Workshop and it was an absolute pleasure getting to know them all. Some I had known via the web for many years. One had already attended a previous Workshop of mine several years ago. It was great to catch up. Seriously, I could not have asked for a better group of people. Thank you so much everyone for traveling out to Italy! 🙂

Becky and I were actually in Venice for several days and we managed to work on almost every single one of them. I truly feel blessed to be able to do what I love doing. Because there were so many shoots, I also want to add a behind the scenes look into the Workshop. So, that’s what I will start out with today.

First of, thanks to our amazing models. We actually had 3 on set. My dear friend Shabnam, whom I graduated High School with eons ago and had not seen in 10+ years! And real-life married couple Marco & Laura who made the trip from Verona into the city of Venice for the day. I love you guys!! Special thanks to the ever fabulous Becky for being my awesome assistant! 😉

Ich liebe Italien! Aber ich muss euch sagen, dass Italiener zum frecken kein Auto fahren können. Es sei denn es gibt eine neue Regelung wo man nicht in normalen Spur fahren soll, sondern auf der gestrichelten Linie. Der absolute Knüller. Wirklich egal wo in Italien wir gerade am fahren waren. Ständig ist jemand mitten zwischen den Spuren gefahren. Bei meinem nächten Italienbesuch muss ich mehr Landschaftsfotos machen. Dazu kam ich bei diesem Mal leider nicht wirklich dazu.

Mein Venedig Workshop war einfach nur spitze! Ich hatte eine ganz tolle Gruppe an Fotografen die dafür extra aus anderen europäischen Ländern eingereist sind. Ich hätte mir wirklich keine bessere Gruppe aussuchen können. Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß! Es war toll mal endlich Internetfreunde live zu sehen und alte Freunde, die schonmal meinen Workshop mitgemacht hat vor ein paar Jahren, wiederzusehen. Ich bedanke mich bei euch allen dafür das ihr nach Italien für meinen Workshop eingereist seid. 🙂

Becky und ich waren für mehrere Tage in Venedig und haben so gut wie jeden Tag gearbeitet. Ich bin wirklich sehr dankbar das ich die Möglichkeiten haben meinen geliebten Job auszuführen. Es war mein Traum einmal in Venedig zu arbeiten und ich bin sehr dankbar das ich mir diesen Traum erfüllen konnte. Ich möchte euch heute als Einstieg mal einen kleinen Einblick hinter die Kulissen geben.

Ein großes Dankeschön geht natürlich auch an unsere Models. Meine Schulkameradin Shabnam, die ich seid über 10 Jahren nichtmehr gesehen hatte. Und unser italienisches Paar Marco & Laura die extra für uns aus Verona für den Tag eingereist kamen. Vielen, vielen lieben Dank!! Und natürlich auch wieder ein großes Dankeschön an meine super Assistentin Becky. 😉
