Thank heaven for technology. 🙂 Craig and I decided to use the time without kiddos (they are visiting Omi & Opi in OR!! So fun.) for some quality 2some time. The last time we had more than 2 days without kids to spend with each other is almost five years ago. That is the last time i had an actual vacation. Wow, kinda sad. Either way, we decided to go on a fun road trip. (I am writing to you from Shreveport, LA!) I did bring my camera and a selection of lenses but, and if you know me well at all you will know how BIG this next one is for me, i did not bring a laptop. No computer. No work. Thankfully though i had written this post before we left so all i had to do was add some and hit ‘publish’. So… Without further ado……
After many emails and requests about when I will be teaching my next Group Workshops in Germany, I am so so so excited to officially announce 2 dates for my 2012 edition of my 101 Group Workshops. Yay!
I have decided that this year I will not only host one in Germany, but also – wait for it…..one in Italy! Yes, you read correctly. I will host one workshop again in my hometown and another in Venice, Italy.
Early registration ends 14th of July at midnight US central time. Seats are limited to 10 students only! I prefer to keep my workshops small in number as they are very in-depth and filled with loads of information. First come, first serve! So hurry up and register! I look forward to meeting you and enjoying the day with you!

Ein Hoch auf die heutige Technologie. Craig und ich haben uns spontan zu einer kleinen Autotour entschieden. (Die Kids sind derzeit bei Omi & Opi in Oregon und haben dort einen Riesen Spaß!) Wir haben seid fast 5 Jahren keine 2 Tage nur für uns 2 gehabt. So lange ist u.a. auch mein letzter Urlaub her. Wow, schon fast traurig. Ich habe natürlich meine Kamera und ein paar gewählte Objektive mit dabei, aber hier kommt der Kicker und jeder der mich gut kennt weiß wie schwer es für mich normalerweise ist – ich habe keinen Laptop dabei! Kein Computer. Keine Arbeit. Nur mein Mann, mein VW Jetta, die Straße und den Süden Amerika’s!! (Heute sind wir in Shreveport, Louisiana und später geht’s weiter nach Baton Rouge!!)
Ich hatte diesen Eintrag zum Glück schon vor Abreise geschrieben und musste also nurnoch was hinzufügen und ‘publish’ drücken. Also, ohne weiter groß drum rum zu reden…….
Nach etlichen emails und sämtlichen Nachfragen freue ich mich total euch endlich meine Workshop Daten für die 2012 Saison zu verkündigen. Ich habe mich entschlossen auch dieses Jahr wieder zwei 101 Group Workshops zu unterrichten. Einen in meiner Heimat in Deutschland und der 2. wird in Venedig stattfinden. Jaaaaaa! Ihr habt richtig gelesen. Venedig, Italien. Hach, wie ich mich schon drauf freue.
Anmeldeschluß ist der 14. Juli um Mitternach US central time. Die Teilnehmerzahl ist auf 10 Fotografen beschrenkt. Ich bevorzuge Kleinere Gruppen, da der Workshop Tag sehr intensiv ist und mit supi vielen Infos gefüllt wird. Wer zu erst kommt, mahlt zu erst! Also los, meldet euch gleich an! Ich freu mich schon euch kennenzulernen und den Tag gemeinsam mit euch zu verbringen!
