…crawled up my front porch!
yup – when I opened the front door this morning to take Zizi out to the bus stop – this is what we found!

I found out that it’s a brownsnake and NOT poisonous. Thank heavens! I was seriously freaking out over here!

Just the other day UPS delivered my new AF-S Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8 VR G ED and of course as soon as I got back home I had to use it. So freaking awesome!!! Love this new lens. I literally watched (in awe!) as a second ant crawled right into the snake’s mouth….offering himself to the big man. Crazy!!!

Ich hab durch’s liebe Internet herausgefunden, dass es wohl eine Braunschlange ist die Gott sei Dank NICHT giftig ist! Ich hab shcon fast Panik bekommen!

Vor ein paar Tagen hat der liebe UPS Mann mir mein neues AF-S Micro Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8 VR G ED Objektiv geliefert und gleich nachdem ich Zizi abesetzt hatte, hab ich mir meine Kamera mit neuem Objektiv geschnappt und natürlich ein paar Fotos gemacht. Soooo cool! Also echt, das Objektiv ist der absolute Hit! Ich hab doch regelrecht (mit Staunen!) beobachtet wie die Schlange eine Ameise am essen war, und eine 2. ihr in den Mund gekrabbelt ist…um sich für ihr Frühstück zu opfern. Hammer!!!

Was fuer eine suuuuupi Aufnahme. Man kann ja wirklich die kleine Ameise erkennen. Echt ein gelungenes Bild. Es sieht aus, als wuerde die Schlange, die Ameise “rauchen”. Aaaah, ich bekomme immer eine Gaensehaut, wenn ich Schlangen sehe.
