Downtown {Dakota sneak peek}

Last weekend I had the privilege to meet and photograph Dakota. She’s a senior at Okarche High and will be graduating this year.  We had such a fun time together. She chose the Myriad Botanical Gardens right downtown Oklahoma City as her location. Great choice!

I really had a wonderful time meeting Dakota (and her mom). She was such a good trooper. Especially since it can get quite hot inside the botanical gardens. 😀 After we were done inside we stepped outside. Not just to cool off a little but to also get a few quick shots with the amazing Oklahoma City skyline in the background. Isn’t it just awesome? When we first got here I was quite impressed. Of course it’s nothing like NYC or Boston, or even Cleveland ( wink wink), but nonetheless I was impressed, especially since I didn’t expect anything. To me – it’s the perfect size.

So while I was waiting on Dakota during her outfit changes I went on a little texture hunt. I do this all the time. Anything that jumps out at me…I photograph and try to use somehow. So…. I’ve added a picture using 2 different layers. 1 I found inside the garden and the other I found at the parking garage I was parked at.  Feel free to leave me some feedback.

Dakota – thanks for choosing me to capture your beauty! Congrats on graduating. I know you’ll do well no matter what the future has in store for you. I hope you like your sneak peek.

Letztes WE hatte ich das Vergnügen Dakota kennenzulernen. Sie macht dieses Jahr am Okarche Gymnasium ihr Abitur. Wir hatten so viel Spaß zusammen. Wir haben uns in Oklahoma City beim botan. Garten getroffen um ihre Fotos zu machen. Was für eine klasse Wahl!

Ich hatte wirklich eine tolle Zeit sie (und ihre Mutti) kennenzulernen. Sie hat sich super gemacht vor der Kamera. Besonders weil es doch recht schwül wird in botan. Gärten. 😀 Als wir fertig waren mit unseren Fotos im Garten an sich sind wir etwas raus gegangen um uns nicht nur abzukühlen, sondern auch um die tolle skyline von Oklahoma City mit in den Fotos einzufangen. Sieht klasse aus, ne?! Als ich sie zum ersten Mal gesehen hatte nach unserem Umzug war ich positiv beeindruckt. Natürlich nicht zu vergleichen mit NYC, Boston oder Cleveland (kleiner Wink mit dem Zaunpfahl an meine Freunde die Joneses), aber nichtdestotrotz eine tolle Aussicht. Besonders weil ich mit Null gerechnet hatte. Und für mich, ist das genau die richtige Größe.

Während sich Dakota umgezoge hat hab ich mir die Zeit mit der Suche nach tollen Fototexturen vertrieben. Ich mach das ständig. Egal was ich finde oder sehe….sobald es mir gefällt und ich denke, dass es irgendwie nützlich sein könnte,  wird’s fotografiert. Also zeig ich euch doch auch natürlich ein Besispielfoto (siehe oben) mit 2 der neuen Texturen, die ich gefunden habe an dem Tag. 1 gleich im Garten drin und die 2. die auf dem Foto drauf ist habe ich in der Garage entdeckt wo ich mein Auto geparkt hatte. Cool, ne?! Ich freu mich immer über feedback, also nur her damit.

Dakota – danke das du mich ausgesucht hast um dich zu fotografieren! Herzlichen Glüchwunsch zum Abi. Ich bin mir sicher, das du in deiner Zulunft sehr erfolgreich sein wirst, komme was wolle und ich hoffe dir gefällt deine kleine Vorschau.
