Carrie is a wonderful person. She’s a mother of 2 super cute and lots of fun boys (4 & 2 ) and she happens to be my Nilmdts area coordinator. We met up last weekend to take pictures of her and her boys and we were blessed with wonderful weather. I love a sky with big puffy clouds.
Carrie is also a fellow photographer up in Edmond and I feel so honored that she chose me to capture her and her boys. Who by the way are awesome. No really – these boys absolutely took to me and I fell in love! Carrie was a little worried about me getting good pictures of her youngest one since he’s always all over the place and barely ever sits down long enough to get shot. No problem for me — running around after 3 of my own kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat has prepared me for any situation. You basically just have to keep their little minds occupied and be ready at any given moment to take the shot. We played games, saw some cool bikes who captured their interest and just let the boys go wild.
Oh and I have to say – I love that her boys wrestle with each other. I know I’ve mentioned this before in older posts but Craig is very adamant on our kids wrestling with him….a la UFC style. So watching these 2 getting on the ground and happily rolling around with each other just made my day!
Isn’t this the epitome of every mom’s life? I absolutely love the fact that Carrie simply laughs at situations like these. Because really…. having your kids tugging at you from seperate directions, one crying, the other not…. those are just the little things in life. Not big enough to get upset about. Carrie – you’re a hero to every mom out there!!

On a side note – if you follow my blog you know I barely ever just post 1 picture. When it’s a sneak peek I usually post between 10-20. I choose to do so because I think you as the reader should be able to see my clients, my new friends, how they really are. And since we all have different sides, complex personalities and character trades, I feel it’s important to show you a variety of their pictures from our session. And not just 2 or 3.

Carrie ist einfach klasse. Sie ist die Mutter von 2 super süßen und lustigen Jungs (4 & 2 Jahre alt) und ist außerdem die Gebietsbetreuerin für meine Nilmdts Gruppe. Wir hatten uns letztes WE getroffen um Fotos von ihr und ihren Jungs zu machen und wurden gesegnet mit super Wetter. Ich liebe es wenn dicke, fette Wölkchen am Himmel sind.
Carrie ist mit u.a. auch eine Fotografin aus der Nachbarstadt Edmond und ich fühle mich umso mehr geehrt, dass sie mich ausgesucht hat um ihre Fotos für sie zu machen. Ihre Jungs sind einfach nur klasse! Echt – die 2 haben mich gleich in den Arm genommen und ich war sofort hin und weg! Carrie war aus Erfahrung etwas besorgt, dass ich ggf. nicht wirklich viele und gute Fotos on ihrem Jüngsten bekommen werde, weil er eich richtg aktiver Belzebub sein kann. Ihre Worte waren ‘Er hält einfach nicht lage genug still um gute Fotos zu bekommen!’ hach, das ist doch kein Problem für mich. Nach dem ganzen hin und her, und hinterher rennen meiner 3 Kids, 2 Hunden und 1 Katze bin ich schlimmeres gewöhnt. Man muss sie einfach nur mit etwas beschäftigen und stets bereit sein den Auslöser abzudrücken. Also haben wir verschiedene Spiele gespielt, sahen unterwegs ein paar coole Motorräder und haben die Jungs einfach wild rumspielen lassen.
Ach und ich muss sagen, ich liebe es, dass ihre 2 miteinander ringen. Ich weiß das ich’s schon ein paar Mal hier auf meinem Blog erwähnt habe, aber Craig ist ganz wild darauf mit meinen Kids zu ringen – a la UFC Stil. Also ich also die 2 Brüder beobachten durfte, wie sie miteinander glücklich rumgekämpft haben wurde mein Tag versüßt!
Und mal so nebenbei – wenn du meinen Blog verfolgst weißt du, dass ich so gut wie nie nur 1 Foto zeige. Besonders nicht, wenn’s eine Vorschau für meine Kunden ist. Da zeig ich dann im Durchschnitt zwischen 10 und 20 Fotos. ich mache das, weil jeder Mensch verschiedene Seiten hat, jeder verschiedene Charakteren und Gesichtsauszüge hat und ich finde es wichtig diese so gut wie’s geht auch hier für euch, meine Leser zu zeigen, damit ihr das Gefühl bekommen die gezeigte Person besser kennenzulernen.
