Just yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving. What a wonderful Holiday! We had lots of fun and our bellies were aching once the day was over. 
I was so humbled by Zizi’s compliment about me cooking such a “feast” for us. I wouldn’t have necessarily called it a feast but then again – we had PLENTY of food, we’re all healthy and well, are blessed with a home, lots of wonderful friends (near and far), all of us are HAPPY and we have the greatest family ever! I am so thankful for everything!
So i guess … we had a feast. Eating lots of yummy stuff and having a good time together. Thanks Zi for reminding me that a feast doesn’t always have to be a 10 course meal meant for an army!

Gestern haben wir hier das Erntedank Fest gefeiert. Was für ein toller Feiertag! Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß zusammen und unsere Bäuche haben uns am Ende des Tages weh getan vor lauter Essen. Ich war geehrt als Zizi mir ein Kompliment gab für das leckere ‘Festmahl’. Ich persönlich hätte es nicht gerade ein Mahl genannt sondern eher einen Schmaus, aber… wir hatten REICHLICH an Essen, uns geht’s allen gut und sind gesund, wir sind gesegnet mit einem Dach über’m Kopf, vielen guten Freunden (nah und fern), sind glücklich and haben die beste Familie überhaupt! Ich bin so dankbar für alles!
Also demnach hatte Zizi wohl Recht und wir hatten ein Festmahl. Wir haben ganz viel gegessen und eine tolle Zeit miteinander verbracht. Danke Zi, dass du mich daran erinnert hast, dass ein Mahl nicht unbedingt bedeutet das es ein 10 Gänge Menü für eine riesen Horde ist!
