When I flew out to Connecticut a few months ago my big carry-on camera bag with all my camera equipment got a special inspection. I was really nervous for this old guy checking everything in it to possibly drop something. I told him “Please be very careful. Those are my babies in there!”
Well…. and just a couple weeks ago I finally got myself a real baby. A Lensbaby. 
You might have noticed the cool effect in one of the pictures of my Halloween Cleopatra. So in order to test a little more and have some fun just for creative reasons I recruited the super fabulous Leslie to model for me. I also wanted to check out this very awesome location I found. Not suitable for little kids…but definitely awesome!

If you know me, follow my blog, follow me on twitter, facebook, etc… you KNOW how much I adore the sun. But even more so… how much I adore sunflares! Boy — do they make me happy. leslie can attest to how giddy I got during our shoot. I was in awe with the glorious light that day.
So…. enjoy a few pictures… that have absolutely nothing to do with deadlines but everything to do with passion and love. My passion. My love. For light and photography.

Als ich vor ein paar Monaten nach Connecticut flog wurde ausgerechnet meine große Kameratasche nochmal extra untersucht. Ich war etwas nervös als ein Beamter auf einmal anfing all meine Objektive, eins nach dem anderen aus der Tasche zu ziehen. Was ist wenn er eins fallen lässt? Ich hab ihm dann gesagt, dass er bisste sehr vorsichtig damit umgehen soll, denn es wären doch meine Babies die er da in der Hand hat. haha Typisch Bex! lol
Naja… und vor ein paar Wochen hab ich mir nun endlich ein richtiges Objektiv-Baby gekauft. Ich hab endlich ein Lensbaby. Euch ist vielleicht schon ein Bild damit aufgefallen bei den Fotos von meiner Halloween Kleopatra. Um also etwas mehr mit meinem neuen ‘Baby’ zu spielen und zu testen habe ich mir ein Model engagiert um mal wieder nur aus creativen Gründen ein Shooting zu haben. Außerdem wollte ich auch eine neue Lokation austesten die ich entdeckt habe. Sie eignet sich nicht für Kinder…aber ist soooo cool!
Wer mich kennt, meinen Blog verfolgt, oder meinen Updates auf Twitter und Facebook mitbekommt, ….der weiß wie sehr ich die Sonne liebe. Und wie verrückt ich nach coolen Lensflares bin! Mann ich grinse wie ein Honigkuchenpferd, und ‘uuuuh’e und ‘aaaah’e wenn ich tolle Lensflares einfange. Leslie, mein Model, könnte euch bestimmt Geschichten erzählen wie glücklich ich an dem Tag war von unserem Shooting. Das Licht war einfach traumhaft!
Also…. erfreut euch an ein paar Bildern dich absolut nix mit deadlines, Kunden, etc. zu tun haben sondern einfach gemacht wurden aus purer Leidenschaft und Liebe. Meine Leidenschaft. Meine Liebe. Zum Licht und zur Fotografie.
