So – since I first mentioned that I was going to teach my 1.0.1. Workshop again while in Germany I have been also getting requests for teaching a Photography Workshop more targeted to Beginners and Intermediates. I thought about it and decided to go ahead and also offer my Photography Basics Workshop.
Here’s the 411 for all of you interested:
Photo Basics Workshop
A Workshop teaching you the ins and outs of your camera. Teaching you how to control your manual settings. How to manually and properly expose a picture. How to find the best light in any situation, any place.
If you have a DSLR and have never ventured out of using anything but the auto settings but would like to know how – this is for you!
This Workshop will also include a photo shoot where we will actually go and together work on teaching you how to measure on the spot and finding cool locations and great light.
This Workshop is not for Professionals. It is strictly for Beginners and Intermediates wanting to learn more or refresh and advance their knowledge.

Time: 2-7pm
Fee: 170 Euro (since again slots are limited, this fee is non-refundable and has to be paid in full when signing up)
What you need to bring: DSLR camera & lens(es), owners manual, good mood and sense of humor.

Well and since I’m already talking about Workshops…. here are some shots from a 1.0.1. Workshop I did with Anne Behnke. Anne is a wonderful photographer from Germany and we met over the Internet. So when her and her boyfriend decided to take a Cruise leaving from a port in Florida she decided to come all the way to Oklahoma for some one-on-one time with me. (As well as her very own photo shoot which I will hopefully be able to blog about sometime soon!)
I had such a wonderful time with you Anne and I hope you will come and visit us again soon. I wish you all the best for your photography career and cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you!

So – seid ich bekannt gegeben hatte, dass ich diesen Sommer wieder meinen 1.0.1. Workshop anbiete wurde ich auch von vielen angefragt für einen Fotografie Workshop für Beginner. Ich habe lange drüber nachgedacht und hab mich dafür entschieden einen solchen Workshop für euch anzubieten. Mein Foto Basics Workshop ist nur für Beginner und Hobbyfotografen.

Foto Basics Workshop
Ein Foto Workshop, bei dem ich euch zeige, wie ihr manuell eure Kamera einstellt, messt und fotografiert. Ihr lernt wie ihr aus jeder Situation egal wo ein tolles Foto machen könnt.
Wenn du eine DSLR Kamera und Freude am fotografieren hast, nur mit den Auto-Einstellungen arbeitest aber gerne wissen möchtest wie du selbst deine Kamera manuell beherrschen kannst…dann ist dieser Workshop genau richtig für dich!
Wir werden bei diesem Workshop natürlich auch ein kleines Fotoshooting haben, damit wir live vor Ort testen und fotografiere können. Damit wir zusammen verschiedene Situationen austesten können, ihr gute Stellen für Fotos erkennt und ihr versteht wie wichtig das natürliche Licht ist.
Dieser Workshop ist nicht für Profis, sondern nur für Beginner und Hobbyfotografen, die mehr über ihre Kamera, deren Einstellungen und das eigentliche Fotografieren lernen oder ihr Wissen auffrischen und erweitern möchten.

Und wo ich nun schonmal dabei bin über meinen Workshop zu schreiben zeig ich euch doch auch am Besten Fotos von meinem 1.0.1. Workshop den ich mit Anne Behnke vor ein paar Monaten hatte. Anne ist eine Fotografin aus Lüneburg und wir haben uns über das Internet kennengelernt. Als sie und ihr Freund eine Kreuzfahrt buchten, die von Florida aus abging, hat sie sich doch glatt einen Flieger hier nach Oklahoma genommen um meinen 1.0.1. Workshop mit mir zu machen. (Und ihr eigenes Fotoshooting von dem ich euch hoffentlich auch sehr bald berichten werde.)
Ich hatte so eine tolle Zeit zusammen mit Anne und ich hoffe, dass sie uns schon sehr bald mal wieder besuchen kommt. Ich wünsche dir alles Gute für deine fotografische Zukunft und freue mich schon sehr deine weitere Karriere und Weiterentwicklung zu beobachten!
