Cloward Clan Adventures…..big changes for 2014!

I almost cannot believe it is December 31st today. Wow. 2013 sure flew by. We usually make all kinds of new years resolutions and expect some changes in our lives. Let me tell you this…after many prayers, fasting and patiently waiting….the Cloward Clan will be going through some very drastic changes in 2014! I am so proud of my amazing husband who has been chosen for a promotion to Senior Master Sargent (E8)! After only serving 15 years in the Air Force he was selected for a Flight Chief Position in the Recruiting field at Whiteman Air Force Base. He will be in charge of the Recruiters serving in Missouri, Southern Kansas and Nebraska. I’m not sure yet when exactly Craig will start his new job but his report no later date is May 31st. I know the kids and I will for sure finish off their school year then pack up the dogs and luggage and make the trip up north soon after.

Within the next 5-6 months we will not only complete renovations on our house, but also pack it up, list it, *hopefully* sell it, and drive about 6hours north. Whiteman Afb is circa 1 hour south east of Kansas City, MO and about 3 1/2 hours west of St. Louis, MO. Moving there will mean starting anew with pretty much everything. Yes….sounds pretty awesome, eh?! haha It means more responsibility, more challenges but hopefully also more family time. It will also finally bring us closer to extended family. (Julie we can’t wait to have many get together’s with you and your clan.) I guess these are the benefits of being self-employed. I can literally take my work, my business, with me wherever the Military sends us. This life surely isn’t for everyone but to me, to us, this is an adventure we cannot wait to begin. We like experiencing different corners of the world. We like to travel. We like seeing new things. Making new friends.

With our lives being busy with the house, moving prep, school and sports I will still be able to make some room for photo shoots. My time and the shoots however will be very limited and they will, as of right now, be the last ones I will offer here in Oklahoma. I will post more on my availability, etc soon so be sure to check on my fan page on Facebook.

Of course we will miss all the friends we have made here in Oklahoma. After all, the past 5 years have been the longest we have lived anywhere! I hope I will get the chance to say Goodbye to all of you or at least most of you in person.

Wishing all of you a fabulous New Year’s Eve celebration wherever you are in the world. Ring in the new year with joy, love and friendship. I have already started my 2014 to-do lists and will continue to add more, I am sure, as the year progresses along with checking off accomplished goals.

We miss and love you all! Thank you for being a part of our lives and enriching it with love and friendship.
