Meet Jessica! She’s one of my 2010 senior Reps and she’ll be graduating from Bethany High School next year.

She is such a beautiful girl, inside and out. Dude – not only does she play multiple instruments, no… she’s also a very talented athlete. She plays basketball and soccer for her High School. You go girl!

I had such a fun time with her. And I was thrilled to see that she brought her guitar along for her mini session. That’s right — these shots were just from a quick mini session we had together. He actual senior session will be sometime next year and I am already very much looking forward to it!

Ich stelle vor — Jessica! Sie ist eine meiner 2010 Promoschülerinnen und wir nächsten Sommer ihr Abitur am Bethany Gymnasium machen.

Sie ist so ein süßes Mädel und hat ein wunderbaren Charakter. Sie ist außerdem super Talentiert. Sie spielt mehrere Instrumente und ist auch sehr sportlich. Sie ist nicht nur im Basketball Team, sondern auch im Fußballteam ihres Gymnasiums. Daumen hoch Süße!

Ich hatte eine Menge Spaß mit ihr bei unserer Session. Sie hat sogar ihre E-Gitarre mitgebracht, was ich natürlich gleich ausnutzen musste…haha Wir haben uns letzte Woche für eine Minisession getroffen. Genau – mini, es war keine volle, normale Session. Ihre richtige Session wird sie kommendes Jahr haben, worauf ich mich natürlich schon freue!

Rachel Hart is a super talented hair and make-up artist right here in Norman. I’ve worked together with Rachel on my 40s Fashion Shoot and I recommend her services to all my clients! She is simply fabulous and absolutely knows her craft. Trust me — it makes my job as a photographer so much easier when I have clients to work with that have their make-up professionally done. She’ll meet you at your home, her office in the city or at any other location of your choice.

When she contacted me to get some new shots for her upcoming new website I was thrilled! I was even more excited when I found out who’d be modeling for us that day. Coco is German!!!! She’s dating the brother of one of my past brides and we met at the wedding. She even happens to be from the area I’m from. I mean really…. what are the odds?!

Rachel Hart ist eine super talentierte Visagistin hier aus Norman. Ich hatte schon einmal das Vergnügen mit ihr zusammen zu arbeiten an meinem 40er Jahre Fashion Shoot. Ich kann sie wirklich nur an alle weiterempfehlen! Sie ist echt klasse und beherrscht ihr Talent. Glaubt mir wenn ich euch sage, dass es meinen Job als Fotografin um einiges vereinfacht, wenn ihr als Models professionelles Make-up drauf habt. Sie kommt zu euch nach Hause, oder ihr könnt euch in ihrem Büro in der City treffen. Im Grunde ist es völlig egal wo.

Als sie mich kontaktierte um neue Fotos für ihre neue Homepage zu machen war ich sofort begeistert! Ich hab mich noch mehr auf unser gemeinsames Shooting gefreut als ich erfahren habe wer für uns modeln würde. Coco ist Deutsche!!!! Sie ist mit dem Bruder einer meiner vergangenen Hochzeitskunden zusammen und ich habe sie auf deren Hochzeit kennengelernt. Sie kommt sogar aus Daun was ja nicht sehr weit weg ist von Trier. Wie klein die Welt doch ist!

Rachel benutzt nur die besten Produkte und bietet jetzt seid Neuestem auch Airbrush make-up an. Wenn ihr das nächste Mal also auf der Suche seid nach einer tollen Visa müsst ihr sie unbedingt kontaktieren.

Goodness…. Destry is such a cutie!!! I kinda feel like I pushed myself on her mommy to have her pictures taken….hehe She’s just hat cute! Destry’s mom is a friend of mine, our kids go together to school and to church. And I love her and her family!

Baby Destry was born September 29th weighing in at 6lbs15oz and was 21″ long and I am soooo happy that I was the first to photograph her. This is truly one of the very many things that’s so perfect about my job. I get to snuggle and cuddle with the cutest little angles – EVER!!! I think every new mommy should opt for an in-home newborn session. You’ll be in the comfort of your home, and you don’t really have to do a thing (aside from maybe nursing if needed….lol) but kick back and watch me work my magic. Heck — you don’t even have to get out of your pj’s for all I care.

Kris & Gang – thank you so much for allowing me to come to your home. Congratulations again on your very beautiful addition to the family. I know Heavenly Father has blessed you with one of his very special angels. Love you guys! xox

Meine Güte…die kleine Destry ist ja soooo goldig!!! Ich glaub ich hab mich fast auf ihre Eltern gezwungen um ihre Fotos zu machen….haha Sie ist einfach zu süß um nicht fotografert zu werden! Ich bin befreundet mit ihrer Mami und ihre Brüder gehen zusammen mit meinen Kids zur Schule und zur Kirche. Ich hab sie allesamt so lieb!

Baby Destry ist am 29. September auf die Welt gekommen mit 3,14kg und sie war 53,3cm lang und ich bin ja soooooo froh, dass ich die 1. war die sie fotografieren durfte. Neugeborene sind wirklich mit einer der vielen Gründe weshalb ich meinen Job so liebe. Ich darf immer wieder mit den süßesten kleinen Babies knuddeln und kuscheln!!! Ich bin der Meinung, das jede frischgebackene Mami sich einen professionellen Fotografen schnappen sollte um bei sich zu Hause, in aller Ruhe und vor allem in den eigenen 4 Wänden! Babyfotos zu machen. Es ist so ein Unterschied wenn man relaxed und stressfrei eine Neugeborene Session haben kann. Mami muss so gut wie garnichts tun, naja…vielleicht hier und da mal etwas stillen…lol…aber ansonsten kann sie sich auf einen bequemen Sessel setzen und die Momente einfach nur genießen in denen ich meine Magie vollbringe. Hey – es ist mir völlig egal ob ihr noch im Schlafanzug seid oder nicht.

Kris & Co – vielen Dank, dass ich zu euch nach Hause kommen und euer neuestes Famileinmitglied für euch fotografisch einfangen durfte. Nochmals herzlichen Glückwunsch. Ich weiß das der himml. Vater euch mit einem seiner ganz besonderen Engeln gesegnet hat. Ich hab euch lieb! xox

A week has come and gone. Craig came back from his TDY and well… Leslie & Matt should be back from their honeymoon.

Leslie & Matt met several years back at OSU. She’s now finishing up to be a vet and he is a pilot for the Air Force. I didn’t get to actually meet Matt until a month or so ago since he was deployed during the time I met Leslie. I know everybody is happy to have him safe and sound back home.

Beautiful (back)light….I can never resist you. hahaha…. I actually cried tears of joy when I saw this picture. It was so funny. Matt is a strong, funny, masculine man… and here he is in such a delicate, feminine and sensual pose! Love you man!

Their wedding was such a beautiful and fun wedding! They chose the Oklahoma City Old Farmers Market as their venue and … my oh my! I have had severl portrait sessions at the location before but until last Saturday I had not been inside the Market itself. And let me tell you — they transformed it into a beautiful, romantic and fall appropriate getaway. They brought in hundreds of candles, branches and even trees (!!). It was gorgeous. I love the fact that they chose fall colors for their day. Browns and deep reds… love it!

Leslie made her own birdcage veil. For under $20!!! Gorgeous.

So – Leslie & Matt were my first couple to opt for a ‘First Look’. They each had a personal wedding present to give to the other and they wanted a few minutes just to themselves. I HIGHLY recommend a first look for all my future couples. I speak from experience when I say that seeing your partner before the actual ceremony and spending some alone-time together before everything will not only calm your nerves but will also be very special.
So – you already know what suprise Leslie had install for Matt. And I promised you some pictures. Here we go….

Matt surprised Leslie with a beautiful pair of pearl earrings… and….. a honeymoon in Hawaii! Gotta love that man.

After the First Look and their exchange of presents we headed out for some pictures. It was a glorious day outside. But….when I saw the light inside…I just had to stop and take this shot! I love it! Probably one of my faves of the day.

So….uh…. I don’t think I’ve ever posted this many pictures. But I just couldn’t help myself. lol

Leslie & Matt — congratulations ….again! You two are such wonderful people and hold a special place in my heart. I wish you joy, good health and never-ending love for you future together. Ich kann nicht glauben wie schnell diese Woche umging. Craig ist endlich wieder zurück von seinem letzten Ausflug und…. ich gehe mal schwer von aus, das Leslie & Matt wieder zurück sind von ihren Flitterwochen.

Leslie erinnerte sich an ein Foto, dass ich Anfang des Jahres am Farmers Market mit einem Model kreiert hatte und wollte das gleiche versuchen. Sooooo toll!

Die ganze Gruppe….

Meine Herren….die Jungs waren vielleicht lustig!

Leslie & Matt haben sich an der OSU kennengelernt. Sie ist im letzten Jahr und wird dann ihren Abschluss als Tierärztin haben und Matt ist Pilot für die US Air Force. Ich habe Matt erst vor etwas über einem Monat kennengelernt, da er zu dem Zeitpunkt als Leslie & ich uns getroffen hatten deployed war. Ich bin mir sicher nicht nur Leslie sondern seine restliche Familie und Freundeskreis sind sehr froh darüber ihn endlich wieder sicher zu Hause zu haben.

hahaha…. Matt wollte Leslie hochheben und hat sich mit seiner Kraft und ihrem Fliegenwicht etwas überschätzt und sie doch glatt über den Arm geschmissen und … fallen lassen!

Es war so eine wunderschöne Hochzeit! Die Trauung und Feier hat im Old Farmers Market in Oklahoma City stattgefunden. Und meine Herren…..ich hab ja jetzt schon öfter dort Portrait Shootings gehabt, aber bis letzten SA war ich halt noch nie innen drin gewesen. Boah — es war so toll. Sie haben den Saal mit Hunderten von Kerzen, Ästen und sogar richtigen Bäumen geschmückt und somit den Herbst reingebracht. Es war einfach atemberaubend schön. Total romantisch. Und die Herbstfarben haben super gepasst. Braun und dunkles rot – ich liebe es!

So….ähm…. ich glaub ich habe noch nie so viele Fotos auf einmal gezeigt, aber hey….ich konnte es einfach nicht lassen. lol

Es wurde gegessen, gelacht und noch mehr getanzt.

hihi….als die Jungs den Anfang von diesem Lied hörten sind sie regelrecht auf die Tanzfläche gesprintet! Es war einfach nur genial ihnen zuzugucken und sie anzufeuern. Y*M*C*A …. mehr muss ich ja nicht sagen, ne?!
