1.0.1. Workshop – Romina, Seymour CT

This past week I had to fly out to Connecticut for some business and I figured… while I’m there I might as well make myself available for some photo ops as well. So – Romina contacted me for my 1.0.1. Workshop as well as a session for her 2 super cute kids (which I will blog about shortly).

I recruited the beautiful Stephanie to be our model for the shoot. Our MUA had to cancel last minute on us so I had to step up to the plate and take over her hair and make-up. I’m pretty happy how it turned out. 😀

By the time we were ready to head out and shoot Connecticut blessed us with a big storm. Loud rolling thunder, even lightning and rain. But none of that could keep us from having our fun. We quickly went and grabbed 2 large umbrellas while Stephanie braced the rain and the bugs in the field for us.

I love my 1.0.1. Workshop because I love sharing all I know. Answering all the questions other photogs have and helping them to grow and advance in something they love. Romi and I shot the entire shoot with a Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens. It’s one of my all-time favorite lenses and I let Romi test-drive one of mine. For all of you out there looking for a terrific lens – fast, sharp and great for low-light…. get one!

Romi – THANK YOU! You are awesome. Stop doubting yourself! I had one heck of a day with you I am sure I will never forget. 😀 I cannot wait to see some more of your work….preferably with that cool old junkyard as a location. Love you!

Die letzte Woche musste ich aus privaten Gründen zurück nach Connecticut fliegen, also dachte ich mir, dass ich mich auch für berufliche Zwecke zur Verfügung stelle. Als Romina mich kontaktierte für meinen 1.0.1. Workshop und eine Fotosession von ihren super süßen 2 kleinen Kids (die Session kommt demnächst) hab ich mich natürlich sehr gefreut.

Unser Model für den Tag war die sehr hübsche Stephanie. Unsere Visa musste leider kurzfristig absagen, also hab ich mich in’s Zeug gelegt und hab mich um ihr Make-up und ihre Haare gekümmert. Ich muß sagen ich bin sehr froh mit dem Resultat. 😀

Schaut euch nur diese hammer Augen an!

Als wir nach unserem Theorie Teil fertig waren endlich raus zu gehen und unseren Shoot zu beginnen hat Connecticut uns mit einen tollen Sturm gesegnet. Es hat kräftigst gedonnert, geblitzt und geregnet. Aber nichts konnte uns davon abhalten zusammen Spaß zu haben. Wir sind schnell zurück und haben uns 2 große Regenschirme geschnappt und Stephanie war tapfer genug für uns im Nassen zu modeln.

Ich liebe meinen 1.0.1. Workshop. Ich liebe es die Möglichkeit zu haben mein Wissen mit anderen Fotografen zu teilen. Ihre Fragen zu beantworten und ihnen quasi beim Wachsen und der Weiterbildung zu helfen. Romi und ich haben beide den ganzen Shoot mit dem Nikkor 50mm f1.4 Objektiv geschossen. Das Objektiv ist eins meiner Liebsten und ich hab Romi mein 2. austesten lassen. Wenn ihr euch ein neues Objektiv kaufen wollt kann ich es euch wirklich nur empfehlen. Es ist schnell, super scharf und sehr Lichtstark!

Stephanie – vielen Dank für’s modeln. Du warst einfach super und hast es uns mit deiner Natürlichkeit und Schönheit sehr leicht gemacht!

Romi – DANKE! Du bist spitze! Ich hatte einen wahnsinns Tag zusammen mit dir den ich so schnell bestimmt nicht vergessen werde. 😀 Ich freu mich schon mehr von deinen Arbeiten zu sehen…..hoffentlich mit dem super coolen Schrottplatz als Location. Ich hab dich liebt!
