Gone with the wind. {fashion}

Today was a perfect example of the Oklahoma weather. It could change from one minute to the next.

Just yesterday we were enjoying a beautiful sunny day with a temperature of 75deg and just a slight little breeze. Today – a whole different story.

Let me tell you about Jorden. Jorden is a model from Edmond. She’s a very young model, barely 16 years old, but already has lots of experience. She’s been modeling for shoots as well as runways for a few years now.

So we set up our shoot for today. The weather forcast yesterday was still predicting a mild day with temperatures in the high 40s to mid 50s. Some wind. That all went out the window by 6am this morning.

We had 32degrees with winds between 15 and 20mph. It was freezing cold! But we didn’t cancel our shoot! She was a brave girl, let me tell ya. I worked together with my old friend and fabulous cosmetologist Amy M. on this shoot who provided Jorden with hair and make-up. She did an amazing job and I can only recommend her to anyone!

I found this really neat place right in Oklahoma City. It’s an old, rundown Spanish looking building. It’s so awesome! We called it quits after about 40min. Our feet, hands and faces were frozen and we were having a hard time walking, talking or moving our hands. This was such a great experience! I’m very happy Jorden was up for it, even though she was freezing and her teeth kept chattering. I hope we’ll have the opportunity to work together again in the near future. She’s got great potential and I can’t wait to see what her future will bring.

Das Wetter heute war ein typiches Beispiel für das Wetter hier in Oklahoma. Es verändert sich von einer Minute auf die nächste.

Gestern noch hatten wir 25Grad im Schatten und eine leichte Brise. Heute – komplett anders.

Erst möchte ich euch aber ein bißchen über Jorden erzählen. Sie ist ein Model und kommt aus Edmond. Sie ist ein recht junges Model, ist vor kurzem erst 16 geworden, und hat mit ihren jungen Jahren schon recht viel Erfahrung was das Modeln betrifft. Sie arbeitet nun schon seid ein paar Jahren als Foto- und Laufsteg Model.

Wir haben unseren Fotoshoot also für heute vereinbart. Gestern hieß es noch, dass es recht milde Temperaturen geben soll mit einem leichten Wind hier und da. Die Vorhersage hatte sich allerdings schon um 6Uhr heute morgen als falsch erklärt.

Es waren leider mal gerade 2 Grad draußen und der Wind fegte mit 25-30km/h durch die Gegend. Es war eisig kalt! Aber wir haben unseren Fotoshoot dennoch nicht abgesagt. Was für ein mutiges Model. Meine gute Freundin Amy M. hat sich um Jorden’s Haarfrisur und Schminke gekümmert. Sie war einfach klasse und ich kann sie jedem nur empfehlen!

Gleich in der Innenstadt von Oklahoma City hab ich diese coole Fotosstelle gefunden. Es hat einen span.-mexikan Flair. Total genial! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit zusammen.  Einfach spitze! Nach ca 40min haben wir den Schlusstrich gezogen. Füße, Gesicht und Hände waren allesamt eingefroren. Was für ein Tag!  Ich bin sehr froh, das Jorden bei so einem Wetter mitgespielt hat. Sie hat großes Potential und ich bin gespannt was noch so alles auf sie zukommen wird.
