Best Friends

What would life be without them? I sure wouldn’t want to be without my best friend Annie! I am super happy and thankful about her coming to visit us for 8 days after her 1 year studies in China. She arrived in Boston last Tuesday and we’ve been on the move ever since. Thursday we went down to the beach and had sooo much fun! Luckily it was still warm enough for Annie to take a dip in the water. We had a blast! Yesterday we took her to her 1^st Drive Inn movie EVER. We put the kids in their P.J.’s, brought along pillows, blankets and tailgated to enjoy the double feature: “Balls of Fury” (rather boring) and “I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry” (FUNNY!). We had a terrific time! It is simply wonderful to have her with us. The kids adore her and I’m sure drive her crazy just as well…lol Too bad she can’t stay for longer…or for good! *boohoo* But I take as little time as I can get and enjoy it to the fullest!!!!

Was wäre unser Leben nur ohne sie? Ich weiß ich möchte nicht ohne meine beste Freundin Annie sein! Ich bin überglücklich und dankbar, dass sie uns nach ihrem 1-jährigem China Studienaufenthalt für 8 Tage besuchen kommen konnte. Letzten Dienstag kam sie in Boston an und seitdem sind wir auf Trapp. Donnerstag sind wir runter zur Küste gefahren und hatten sooo viel Spaß! Glücklicherweise war es noch warm genug, sodaß Annie sogar eine Runde schwimmen gehen konnte. Wir hatten ´nen Morz Spaß! Gestern haben wir sie zu ihrem 1. Autokinobesuch ausgeführt. Wir haben die Kids in ihre Schlafanzüge gesteckt, Kissen und Decken mitgenommen, die hinteren Autositze runtergeklappt und es uns bequem gemacht. Haben uns dann gemütlich 2 Filme angeguckt: “Balls of Fury” (eher langweilig) und “I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry” (LUSTIG!). Hatten supi viel Spaß! Ach, es ist einfach genial sie hier zu haben. Die Kids sind verrückt nach ihr und ich bin mir sicher sie treiben sie mitlerweile schon halb in den Wahnsinn…lol Zu schade, dass sie nicht länger bleiben kann…oder gar für immer! *boohoo* Aber ich nehm was ich kann und genieße es in vollen Zügen!!!!
